Chief Executive Officer & Founding Member
Sahithi Cherukuri
Sahithi is a sophmore who is part of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute at Santa Clara High School. She has been interested in STEM from a young age and currently participates in various STEM activities and competitions, attends coding and robotics clubs, and explores programming languages. Sahithi also enjoys singing and gardening in her free time. She joined A Step Ahead to spread her knowledge to other students and improve her own skills along the way.

Pranav Golla
Pranav Golla is a senior at Santa Clara High School. He is interested in STEM fields, particularly in robotics and coding. He is a founding member of the PC/Hardware Club at SCHS, a member of 49ers SLI, and he has experience in FLL, FTC, and the STEAM science fair. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, gaming, and working on personal projects.

Vikram Atmuri
Vikram is a freshman who attends Santa Clara High School. He is passionate about computer-aided design, robotics, and math. Vikram enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, and gaming. He is excited to work with like-minded peers to educate other students and learn more.

Sathvika Arumilli
Sathvika, a sophomore at University Preparatory Academy, has nurtured a profound interest in STEM subjects since she was young. Enthusiastically immersing herself in various STEM pursuits, she eagerly participates in numerous activities and makes valuable contributions to an FTC robotics team. Driven by a passion to inspire and support younger students, Sathvika joined A Step Ahead, utilizing her expertise in order to educate and mentor others. In her free time, she finds serenity in listening to the melodious tunes of music and the intricate craft of origami.

Manomay Sagger
Manomay is a senior at Wilcox High School. He is interested in stem fields, mainly technology, engineering, and math.

Sohan Patra
Sohan is a senior at Wilcox High School in the Bay Area. While loving coding and teaching others about programming, he enjoys playing badminton and learning about the business/finance world. Sohan is excited to spread his knowledge in A Step Ahead Workshops.

Hasini Parepalli
Hasini is a sophmore at Foothill High School. She is passionate about CS, climate change, and robotics. She participates in FRC, VEX, and Model UN. Additionally, she runs a climate change website and is part of a climate organization and podcast. Through A Step Ahead, she hopes to teach young children and others programming languages and more.

Sanjay Selvakumar
Sanjay is a senior at Santa Clara High School who is passionate about spreading knowledge about STEM. He is a member of the 49ers SLI and is the founder of the Risk Management Club at SCHS. He is also a part of SLAM, a mentoring program targeted at elementary students about the basics of STEM. In his free time, he likes to play sports and watch legal dramas

Ryan is an 8th grader at Cabrillo Middle School. He is a part of the 49ers STEM Program, and particularly enjoys math. In his free time, he enjoys animating, drawing, and playing volleyball.

Aayush is an 8th grader at Cabrillo Middle School. He is a part of the 49ers STEM Program and enjoys building with Lego’s. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, drawing, and biking. Aayush is thrilled to be a part of A Step Ahead and would educate other students and learn more.

Ricky is an 8th grader at Cabrillo Middle School. He is a part of the 49ers STEM Program, and enjoys anything Aviation and STEM related. His hobbies include Running, Volleyball, and Speedcubing.

Nicholas Nguyen
​Nicholas Nguyen Is a freshman at Santa Clara High School. He is part of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute. He has also participated in many things such as synopsys science fair, FLL, World of 8 Billion, and other things. Nicholas likes programming, math, science and many other things. He enjoys playing Volleyball and playing Video Games. He joined this program as he wanted to further his skills in teaching as well as prepare for a STEM career.

Amey is a freshman currently attending Santa Clara High School. He looks forward to helping others learn and working with others to make that happen. Outside of school, he enjoys playing badminton and playing video games with his friends.

Ella is an 8th grader at Cabrillo Middle School. She is a part of the 49ers STEM Program and enjoys creating in various media. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, animating and painting. Some of her other hobbies include jujitsu and playing the violin.

Avni is an eighth grader at Cabrillo Middle School. She is part of the 49ers STEM Program. She enjoys STEM related activities and has participated in various different competitions including Tech Challenge, Synopsys Science Fair, Green Ninja, and First Lego League. Her hobbies include basketball, drawing, and robotics.

Nirathi Cherukuri
Nirathi is a freshman at UC Berkeley. She is passionate about machine learning, programming, and singing. She has earned several recognitions, such as IEEE publication upon presenting at an IEEE technology conference, as well as the AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) Intelligent Systems award for her machine learning research projects. Through A Step Ahead, she hopes to connect with her community and share her passions with younger students.

Pranav Subbarayan
Pranav Subbarayan is an alumnus of Wilcox High School in the Bay Area. In addition to programming robots and fervently coding in hackathons, he loves playing soccer, astrophotography, and learning languages. Pranav is excited to mentor students from diverse backgrounds and continue inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals through A Step Ahead workshops.

Sydnee Wei
Sydnee is a college freshman attending Boston University and is a proud staff alumni of A Step Ahead: Silicon Valley. Previously, Sydnee worked as a Curriculum Director and was involved in creating and teaching basic Biology and Computer Science lessons to students! In her free time, Sydnee likes to songwrite, sing, and play volleyball!

William is a former senior at Wilcox High School, and a student at UC Santa Barbara studying computer science. He has a passion for coding and dancing ballet, and he spends his free time writing and gaming. He also develops games, where he enjoys combining his STEM skills with his artistic background.
